The Institute for Research, Innovation and Development
Was founded on August 2014. IRID is a voluntary, non-profit, non-governmental, non-partisan organization of citizens, established by free association of citizens to exercise, protection and coordination of its interests and beliefs in promoting the civil society, fostering moral values, strengthening of interethnic relations, raising awareness and strengthening of the democracy in modern society, promoting the development of civil and social rights, promotion of youth activism, preservation of the environment, development of culture and formal and informal education. The core values that guide the work of the organization are: impartiality, activism, orientation towards results, and community based action.
NGO “IRID” wants to achieve the following objectives: Promotion and improvement of interethnic relations, protection and promotion of human rights, encourage cooperation between citizens and their representatives in local, judicial, legislative and executive assistance to citizens to exercise their constitutional and legal rights in Macedonia, promoting and achieving economic development and encouraging technological and information development, combating corruption, protecting citizens from discrimination, encouraging cooperation between national and international bodies reinventing, support vulnerable groups and people with disabilities and other deviant behavior
The mission of IRID:
We’re a non-governmental organization established to promote moral values, to strengthen the inter-ethnic relations and the democratic capacity in the modern society, to raise awareness and promote the development of civil and social rights, culture, formal and informal education as well as youth activism, all these through performing research and activities with impact to the community.

Members and staff
IRID is an membership based organization. Membership in the organization is open to any person regardless of race, gender, citizenship, nationality, religion, age or physical ability. IRID makes decisions in meetings of the Assembly which represents the highest body of the organization and has the highest responsibility for the organization’s policy and financial affairs.
Other competences of the Assembly are: adopt the statute of the Association, adopts the annual report, guidelines and work plan and financial plan, and decides on the association with other affiliated and membership in alliances and international organizations and others. The
